Am I going to have those ugly JavaScript codes in my search, category, archive, etc pages?
No!
JW MediaPlayer in FireFox stops playing after few seconds, is it the same with your plugin?
No! We heard about that problem:
animation stops after few seconds while buffering is OK…
FireFox is very good browser. Problem comes from several sides. Your server may mess media streams. Your current Flash version may confuse FireFox. You may mess code by giving it a bunch of unneded instructions. Make sure you have good instructions for MediaPlayer.
Refer to MediaPlayer documentation and learn very well which are the default values for [flashvars]… If instrustion bufferlength=3 is the default one then you do not need to send that instruction seemlessly to the player. Cool down! Relax! Do not worry! Your media will shine — don’t be too tough on player!
I have installed the plugin according to the directions, however, when I view the post I see the “Get Flash to see this” message?
Probably, your current WordPress theme is not developed in the right way. Some older themes can have that. Try another WordPress theme, a newer one. Check the header template file of your current WordPress theme (usually called header.php). If you don’t see the code: <?php wp_head(); ?> then you need a better theme. Refer to your WordPress documentation.
I already use some other plugin and I do not want to change my posts. How can I try your plugin along with my current one?
JWMP Plugin is silent and separate code. To use JWMP Plugin you do not have to destroy your current plugin. You do not have to “change” your posts. Just add JWMP Plugin to your WordPress and add some code to only one post, just for the test. If you do not like what you see, deactivate the JWMP Plugin and your blog is clean. In some other scenarios you can deactivate those other plugins, permanently or temporarily… do what is best for your situation… but when you deactivate JWMP Plugin — it is out. It is clean, one-step task, you do not have to mess your posts.
I uploaded your plugin to my server and nothing happens?
JWMP Plugin is plugin for WordPress, you need to have the WordPress Blog. For your custom pages outside the blog, SWFObject2 is enough, you do not need plugins. Otherwise: find your “plugins” folder:
http://yoursite/blog/wp-content/plugins/ — create new folder there: jwmp_plugin and copy the plugin file: jwmp.php in that folder…
Why do I see “undefined” under my video-window?
Displayheight parameter is missing. You’re seeing the playlist below the player because player have wrong instructions for Displayheight and Height. It is the way how MediaPlayer works. If player height is 60px and displayheight is 20px you are leaving 20px for the playlist below. Since media is just one file and not the playlist, normaly player starts playlist with one “undefined”-title… But it is JW FLV MediaPlayer problem, you should refer to that documentation.
Why do I have to pay for your plugin, is it fer?
You do not have to pay! Tell us that you can not pay and tell us you email address you get the plugin like anobody else. If you have private wordpress, if you are kid or student… you get the plugin, you change it, you post changes back to us and we develop even better script… Then comes a guy who owns a business. He is not interested in the code itself. He gets the plugin and earn some money with it. He would not post some money back, ofcourse. Is it fer? We do not ask money for the script, we ask donation for development support.
Do you have a demo page for your plugin?
No. This type of WordPress does not allow us to import the plugin. JWMP Plugin is very small PHP script. Instalation takes few seconds. Uninstaling is clean and easy, you can try plugin yourself. Demo page does not show anything related to plugin. In demo page you see only JW FLV MediaPlayer. But if you are eager to see plugin in action you can visit the page we made for our friends. Their blog uses our plugin for several months already. They are very happy with it. That page is in Bosnian Language and address is:
